Appointment policies at Monarch Health Centers

As part of our commitment to delivering high-quality care efficiently, please review our appointment policies below.

Appointment Reminders

Monarch Health Centers provides a courtesy call one working day before your scheduled appointment. For appointments following a holiday, reminders will be made on the preceding working day when our offices are open.

Appointment Cancellation

When you book an appointment, you reserve a spot on our calendar, making it unavailable to other patients. To be considerate to your fellow patients, please notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to keep your appointment.

If cancellation is necessary, we kindly request that you call us at least 24 hours in advance. This notice allows us to accommodate another patient who may need that time slot.

Late Cancellations / No-Show Fees

Late cancellations occur when an appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without canceling.

  • Late Cancellation Fee: A fee of 200 AED will be charged for late cancellations.
  • No-Show Fee: The patient will be charged the full price of the session, which is not reimbursable by your insurance company. This fee will be billed directly to you.
  • Recurring No-Shows: Three consecutive instances of no-shows will result in discharge from our services.
  • Late Arrivals: Late arrivals will be subject to the same charge as a complete session.

Telehealth

Our cancellation policy applies to all appointments, including online appointments.

Support Groups

The cancellation policy does not apply to support groups that are free of charge. However, we do require patients to notify the clinic or facilitator if they are unable to attend.

Exceptions

We understand that emergencies can arise. First-time no-shows and late cancellations will not incur a fee. Subsequent occurrences will result in a 200 AED fee for late-canceled appointments without a 24-hour warning.
