Fatma is a UK trained, CDA licensed therapist and has been practicing in the field for over fourteen years. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in working with adults, couples and adolescents facing a spectrum of mental health challenges. Her expertise encompasses a diverse range of conditions, including but not limited to obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, low self-esteem, depression, social anxiety, and generalized anxiety disorder. 

Fatma has demonstrated an exceptional ability to aid those suffering from mental health difficulties, providing a safe therapeutic space, encouraging open dialogue and a proactive partnership to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Her nuanced strategies and interventions aim at assisting individuals and couples in finding hope, resilience, and renewed purpose in their lives. 


With a compassionate and empathetic approach, Fatma has helped individuals manage intrusive/negative thoughts, behaviors, and compulsions as well as supporting them in regaining control of their lives by employing structured interventions. She has effectively guided individuals through the process of healing and recovery, drawing on evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address trauma-based disorders. Fatma utilizes different therapeutic modalities such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Brain Spotting Therapy to support her clients. 


With a diverse and enriching experience in mental health services, Fatma has dedicated herself to making a positive impact on the lives of those she serves. She has worked in various private and public mental health settings, including South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (the world’s oldest mental health service), where she applied her expertise in CBT and other therapeutic modalities to help individuals manage and overcome a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Fatma’s expertise lies in tailoring therapy to the unique needs of each individual, promoting effective coping strategies and facilitating lasting change. Fatma firmly believes in the transformative power of therapy and its ability to equip individuals with psychological tools to navigate life’s challenges. Her dedication to therapeutic support reflects her commitment to promoting mental well-being and helping individuals lead fulfilling, meaningful lives.
