Ali is a licensed clinical psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and over five years of experience. In his training and practice, he has experience working in diverse settings, including private hospitals, a military hospital, a community setting, and private practice. He is trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) and integrates these approaches with an existential perspective to help clients explore deeper questions of meaning, identity, and connection, beyond just symptom relief.
Ali is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), and a professional affiliate of the Society for General Psychology, and the Society for Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology at the APA. He has a passion for understanding the human experience in its full complexity, often drawing from philosophy, history, and culture to enrich his work.
In his practice, Ali supports teens and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma and stress-related disorders, substance use, phobias, dissociation, grief, and relational difficulties. He also works with those seeking clarity and purpose amid life transitions or existential concerns.
Outside of therapy, Ali is a public speaker and author of a weekly mental health newsletter. He enjoys making psychological insights accessible to a general audience, attempting to spark meaningful conversations about mental health, culture, and personal growth.
