Our Open Door Policy
At Monarch Health Centers, we believe that access to psychological safety and containment should not be limited to scheduled appointments.
Who Can Visit
Our Open Door Policy allows individuals to come to the clinic during operating hours when they need support, guidance, or a safe and regulated space. This includes:
- Current patients
- Former patients, regardless of discharge date
- Individuals who are not yet registered patients but are seeking support or guidance about care
- Children and adolescents who require support, with appropriate family coordination
This access is not restricted to crisis situations. Individuals may come in for brief supportive contact, transitional support following discharge, early re-engagement with services, or guidance regarding next steps in care.
How It Works
When someone arrives without an appointment:
- A trained team member assesses immediate needs
- Clinical staff provide support based on availability
- If necessary, we coordinate referrals or emergency services in accordance with UAE regulations and DHA guidelines
Our clinic is not a 24-hour or inpatient facility, but we do provide short-term, structured support and stabilisation when appropriate.
Safety and Clinical Responsibility
All care under this policy follows:
- UAE Federal Mental Health Law
- DHA regulations
- Child protection requirements
- Confidentiality and data protection standards
We are committed to ensuring that every person who walks through our doors is met with dignity, clarity, and a clinically responsible response.
If you are unsure whether this pathway is appropriate for you or your child, our team is available to guide you.
