What to Expect

Everything you need to know about your visit at Monarch Health Centers

1

Making First Contact

Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation via email and WhatsApp with all the details for your visit. To ensure a smooth start, we will send a reminder one working day before your scheduled appointment.

2

What We Require From You

To ensure a smooth check-in and to meet DHA requirements, please provide the following:

  • Digital Copies (Prior to visit): A clear copy of your Passport and Emirates ID, along with any relevant medical reports (blood work or radiology) and current medications.
  • Physical ID (On arrival): Please bring your Original Emirates ID or Passport with you to the clinic for every in-person visit.
  • Forms: You will receive digital forms including Consent to Treatment, Financial Agreement, and Emergency Contact details.

Note: If you are uncomfortable filling these in online, you may complete them in person at our clinic before your session.

3

The Initial Consultation

Your first session typically lasts 50 to 60 minutes. This is a collaborative space for you and your clinician to get to know one another. The clinician will conduct a detailed intake to formulate a therapeutic plan tailored to your goals.

  • Your Comfort: You only have to talk about what you want to talk about.
  • Your Voice: We encourage you to ask questions about your condition or treatment options. If anything is unclear, our clinicians will explain it until you feel confident.
4

Length of Treatment

Care is highly individualized. The duration of your treatment will vary based on your specific needs, conditions, and goals. Your clinician will work with you to establish a timeline that supports your progress.

Confidentiality & Privacy

Monarch Health Centers takes strict measures to protect your privacy. All staff are trained to uphold rigorous confidentiality standards. By law, confidentiality may only be breached in the following limited circumstances:

  • Risk of Harm: Imminent risk of harm to yourself or others.

Information for Parents & Carers (Under 18s)

  • Consent: Legal guardian consent is required for all patients under 18.
  • Structure: Depending on the child's age, the session may be split into three parts: meeting with the child and parent together, the child alone, and the parents alone.
  • Adolescents (13–18): In some cases, the clinician may meet with the teenager alone first. Please note that confidentiality will be shared with parents if the clinician believes the minor is at risk of danger to themselves or others.
